Gstaad 3000 AG brings together several worlds in the heart of the Vaud Alps: spectacular ski lifts, inviting mountain restaurants and two hotels located in the charming village of Les Diablerets. Serving a varied clientele made up of skiers, hikers, travellers and mountain lovers, our teams, both on the ground and behind the scenes, work together to offer a quality experience in an exceptional natural setting at an altitude of 3000 metres.
Your Mission
As Assistant Manager, you are the direct right hand of the Head of Gastronomy and are fully capable of taking over her responsibilities in her absence. You actively contribute to the daily management, operational supervision, and smooth running of the various food and beverage outlets.
Your Responsibilities
Operational Management
Supervise the smooth running of daily operations across the different restaurants
Ensure high standards of hospitality, service quality, and customer experience
Guarantee continuity in the management of the department in the absence of the Head of Gastronomy
Staff Management
Assist management with staff scheduling and workforce planning
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members
Ensure smooth communication between management and operational teams
Maintain a motivating and professional working environment
Administration
Manage administrative tasks related to the business (orders, invoicing, supplier follow-up, reporting)
Contribute to reporting and performance monitoring of the department
Ensure follow-up of internal documents and procedures
Purchasing & Inventory Management
Manage orders for beverages, wines, and other consumables
Select products in collaboration with management
Monitor deliveries and manage supplier relationships
Carry out and control regular inventory checks
Optimize costs and minimize waste and losses
Operations & Service
Participate in restaurant service and support daily operations
Assist teams during busy periods
Your Profile
Training in hospitality or food & beverage management (hotel school qualification is an asset)
Proven experience in a similar position or in a role with responsibilities
Strong management, organizational, and supervisory skills
Comfortable with IT tools and administrative management
Natural leadership skills, sense of responsibility, and initiative
Proactive, flexible, and able to work under pressure
Excellent command of French and English; German is an asset
